SUNDAY SCARIES: LET'S JUST CHAT.

Hey hunnies happy Sunday. Let’s just chat shall we? I feel like today I just wanna off-load haha and chat about life in your early twenties. Okay, so. This past year I’ve found that I have been comparing my life to every other twenty-something year old, who looks like they have their shit together. When I turned twenty I was like “ahhhh this is so fun, I’m finally twenty!” Then I turned twenty-one and it was AMAZING omg, I literally had the best time. As the months went on, I found myself spiralling more and more into the mindset of am I doing enough? Are my parents proud of me? Should I be doing something else with my life? Does everyone secretly hate me? Like WHAT? Literally wtf. These past few months I have really been prioritising living in the present. I love being spontaneous and just making plans on a whim. Let’s go for a sunset drive. Let’s go out tonight. My friends at my twenty-first “shall we go see Taylor Swift?” “HELL YEAHHHHH” Omg, I will say the stress of booking our accommodation for Tay Tay this week was a rollercoaster of emotions. We’re going to Edinburgh which I’m super excited about and we’ve managed to secure the beautest three-bedroom apartment and it is GORGEOUS. We fought through hell and high water to get it though; it was not an easy ride. Anyway, where was I? Ah yes. Of course, looking forward to the future can be so exciting but it can also be extremely terrifying. Allow yourself as much as possible to just be in the present. Romanticise even the mundane things and find joy in the every day. One day at a time babes. One day at a time.

Isobel encouraged Hannah and I to download Good Reads. I love it. I love having a challenge and I’ve set myself a challenge of fifteen books this year, which I’m hoping to surpass. You can log which books you’ve read, rate them and see what your friends are reading too. Super cute. Currently on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Oof. She’s a juicy one. Oh yeah, by the way, I thought I was the only one that would give inanimate objects pronouns but literally everyone I work with does the same thing. I have found my people. Like, I’ll be putting a lampshade on a shelf and my manager will be like “he can go there.” It cracks me up so much. Let us all give inanimate objects pronouns. It’s the little things really. Legit, I think I’m going insane sometimes.

I wanted to tell you all some things I have been LOVING recently.
