TIME IS TICKING BITCH: NAH JUST KIDDING.

Happy Sunday my gorgeous people. How are we all doing? I feel like this week has gone sooo fast, I don’t know about anyone else? Last night I saw my beautiful Niamh, omg, what a night. We had some delicious ass food and the nicest cocktails and chatted so much about life, imposter syndrome and feeling like we’re always running out of time. It got me thinking. I am so guilty of putting sooo much pressure on myself to achieve so much in such little time. It honestly ANNOYS ME how much I do it. It’s like, I’m telling myself to slow down and breathe but at the same time I feel like I haven’t achieved anything.

Number 1: NOT TRUE.

Number 2: I am twenty-one years of age.

I AM A CHILD. A LITERAL CHILD!!

Sometimes I look at myself and I’m so proud of who I am and who I’ve grown to become but there’s always that lil voice in my head telling me I’m not enough. My GOD it can be exhausting, let me tell ya. It’s also just so interesting to hear how others are feeling. You could look at someone and think oh, they’ve got there shit together wow. The truth. Nobody does. Everyone has demons. Telling them they aren’t doing the right thing. Not achieving what they should be achieving for “their age.” Babes, we need to be kinder to ourselves. We have soooo much time. If you aren’t happy and want to change things, go for it! Why waste time doing something that isn’t fulfilling to you? My career is BRUTAL. Fuck me. It’s so hard. I love it so much. I really do but WOW. Sometimes I just wonder when it will happen. I feel like timing is ticking and there’s so much I need to achieve to be deemed successful. Yeah, I know. I say it out loud and it sounds ridiculous. My fave show EVER is Tick, Tick Boom. If you haven’t listened to it, I BEG PLEASE. Anyway, Johnny writes the show because he feels like he’s running out of time to get to where he wants to be in life. There’s a constant battle of his mind telling him he can’t write a good song, or be a great boyfriend or just have his shit together. What does he go and do? He writes one of the biggest musicals of all time. Can you imagine if he had given up the day before a producer was going to tell him “yeah, let’s take this to Broadway.” You could literally be one phone call away from getting THE CALL that changes your life.

If you don’t feel super content with life right now or feel like you’re stuck in a loop with no way out. Babes. I promise. You can do it. Whatever it is you want to achieve if you believe with every inch of you that you can. You fucking will. Of course, there will be days when you don’t. We’re human beings. Please be kind to yourself. Yes, time is ticking, as it always does. Just not at the speed that you think it is. Slow down. Trust the process. You can do it. Okay. Tell yourself. Go one. Yeah, right now. Go on. I see you. Okay.
