LET THEM EAT CAKE.

Happy Wednesday besties. It’s midweek. We’re doing it. I hope you’re all having a gorgeous week so far! Are we feeling the cosy season realness? MY GOD. This sudden drop in temperature made me lose all sensation in my fingertips and resulted in me delving straight into the knitwear section of my wardrobe. I’m honestly not mad about it. So many things to look forward to. So many fun things planned. This cosy season is gonna be the best one yet and I can’t WAIT to make memories with the people that I love 🫶🏻

Settling for crumbs. Hehe. Let’s eat shall we? Not setting for crumbs when you deserve the whole damn cake was my quote of the summer. Not only when it came to understanding my worth and how I deserved to be treated but also when it came to fuelling my body. Listening to my body when she was hungry and fuelling her with everything she needed. Summer especially can be a very vulnerable time for our bodies as we begin to show more skin and wear less clothing, now we are heading into the cosy season this is your reminder that fuelling our bodies is SO IMPORTANT. Allowing yourselves to enjoy the food that comes with making memories and allowing yourselves to not settle for crumbs when the whole damn cake is right in front of you. Period 🧁🍭🎂✨

Settling allows you to become set with less. When you deserve SO MUCH MORE. It allows you to believe that the minimal normality that you’ve crafted in your brain is how you should live your life when in reality YOU DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER. Take a step back and evaluate what your feeding yourself when it comes to practising self-care. Understanding how you deserve to live your life and not allowing someone else to take a bite when they do not deserve a single crumb. Okay!?!
