SOLO HOLIDAY ROMANCING.

ONE MONTH TILL CHRISTMAS BESTIES. I repeat one month until Christmas. Holy shit. How did that happen?! As we are nearing the end of this year I felt it was time for a lil pep talk so we can really end 2025 on a high.

Firstly, enjoy it. Soak up every last drop of this year. For me, this has felt like the fastest year of my life. I have literally blinked and it’s disappeared but WOW it is one I will never forget. I feel like for a lot of us November can be the time where we shut down. We tell ourselves that there’s no point in starting something new or pouring our heart into a new idea because the year is nearly over. AND? SO WHAT? Why not start now? Make those memories. You owe it to yourself to do that. Make shit HAPPEN. You’ve still got a WHOLE MONTH to go and do it!!!

Secondly, be kind to your body. Please. She’s done so much for you this year. She’s carried you through all the craziness that this year has thrown at you. LOOK AFTER HER. It’s a time of enjoying good food and allowing yourself to feel the freedom to do it. Don’t let your body restrict how magical your Christmas will be this year. Eat, drink and be fucking merry. Devour those Christmas nibbles. ENJOY THEM. Your body will thank you. She deserves to be fuelled with DELICIOUS FOOD BABY.

Thirdly, GIVE YOURSELF SOME LOVING. This time of year is filled with couples holiday romancing; let’s fill it with solo holiday romancing too. Take yourself out. Treat yourself. Enjoy your own company. Prioritise taking some time for yourself as much as seeing the people you love. You feel like your feed is overwhelmed by the amount of Christmas date nights, cabin retreats and home baking pastry making. Take a step back and romanticise yourself too. Whether you’re single in a relationship or the dreaded situationship (sending prayers) PUT YOURSELF FIRST. Trust me I am so bad at taking my own advice but this one I really want to excel in.
