SUMMER (SEASON 22 EPISODE 9)

Summer so far. Why don’t we debrief? Let’s have a big old catchup. Firstly. Hi. How are we all? I hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far. The sun in August really said Hey bitch. It is probably well known by my followers that this summer truly is a Miley Stewart summer. Many events that have taken place already have been influenced by our aim to have the best country girl summer EVER. However, there have been things that have occurred quite simply with the universe also taking part in this Miley Stewart summer frenzy. Songs that have come on the radio, horses EVERYWHERE. Literally this summer it’s like they’ve all multiplied and just appeared, or maybe I’m just noticing them A LOT more haha.

Delicious meals out, sipping tropical cocktails, discovering new places, wholesome nights, partying till four in the morning, delving into new books, running for fun, playing guitar, writing, creating content, prioritising my happiness, concerts, hosting brunches, planning exciting things for the year ahead, discovering new series…this summer so far has been pretty good.

I do feel like sometimes it is so easy to complain in summer. I am guilty of it lol. If it’s too cold. We complain. If it’s boiling hot. We complain. Summer is out here giving us balance. Okay, maybe a bit more rain that we planned BUT my point is, let’s just ENJOY the fact that it’s still light in the evening, that we can sit in the garden and soak up the sun and on the days when the weather isn’t on our side, let’s make the most of it by doing something else. Maybe it wasn’t what you planned to do but just enjoy it as much as you can! I went on the run when the heavens decided to open and apart from the fact that I nearly decked the floor about ten times it was the best feeling to run in the rain. I literally felt like I was in a movie.

This summer has also made me realise just how LUCKY I am to be surrounded by so much love. The people in my life truly are the BEST and I feel so grateful to be able to say that.

Next week…Isobel and I go to Amsterdam. Ahhh. I cannot WAIT. We have so many things planned, so much to see and so many memories to make. Let’s goooooo.
